Brad has a quiet week with strategic resting before heading to Albury for the City2City, taking 2nd place and prioritises post-race nutrition above all else.
Julian’s plantar fascia settles to knock out some pretty strong sessions ahead of Melbourne Uni 5000m next Tuesday.
Brady has an easy week following his marathon, enjoying the opportunity to socialise and taking the time to appreciate the spacing between goal races.
The Boys review the races Australian Track & Field Nationals
There was great theater 5000m races, where in the Men’s race Tiernan gambled with front running strategy while in the Women’s Celia Sullohern duelled with Madeline Hills to secure her spot.
The Men’s 800m threw a few curveballs for selectors, the fastest times coming from Joseph Deng the B Final, while the A Final featured the Luke Mathews show. Britt McGowan ran a smart race to secure her spot in the Women’s 800m.
In the 1500m races, Ryan Gregson did what he needed to do to get across the line as Linden Hall stays true her pet event.
