National track, cross country champion and Olympic representative Dave McNeill joins Brad about his impressive resume from the 400m to 10,000m and beginnings into athletics via basketball. Dave talks about his development under athletics coach Tom Kelly, before his recruitment to North Arizona University and exposure to different training styles. Dave talks about his highlights in the NCAA competing with and against the likes of Lopez Lomong and Galen Rupp, and then the challenges involved with his post collegiate running from finding his identity and life balance outside of running. Brad asks Dave about his columns of wisdom for Runners Tribe that draw on his personal experiences, the people who influences his mental state before talking about his venture into coaching for boundary umpires and other extracurricular activities as well as the relationship between his nutrition, energy intake and injury incidence.

Krishna Stanton chats with Julian, about her diverse running range and long-spanning career. She talks about starting from swimming to getting into running and the transition into the AIS at Canberra and training under Pat Clohessy that lead to competing in a deep field at the World Indoor Championship.
Krishna recounts her persistence through injuries and illnesses through her career, all the while qualifying through the selection process to the 1992 Barcelona Olympic 3000m.Krishna goes through the highlights and challenges of talks about how she made the jump from the middle distance to the marathon, making her debut in Sydney 2001 and meeting Kerryn McCann and Jackie Fairweather that ultimately lead to them sweeping the podium in the Manchester Commonwealth Games Marathon, with Krishna taking the silver while recalling fond memories of her two former teammates before closing with what her running means to her today, running the Gold Coast and Boston marathons in recent years.

Brady’s chat with Malcolm Norwood resumes from last week starting from his suspension from the AIS leading to a 3rd place in the State 10k and then taking a break from the sport, then coming back to racing in Europe under the mentorship of Ron Clarke and dealing with emotions.
Mal then talks about coming home and running the 3-day Otway Classic, recounting the process for picking the team, employing tactics and strategy and duelling Sean Quilty.
With his career transitioning from track to road, Mal talks about running the London Marathon to supplement his Twin Cities performance to qualify for the Barcelona Olympics and the complicated selection process involved as well as an incident that happened just before the London Marathon before going into the lasting impact of the injury through the Tokyo Marathon, World Championships in Germany to his final marathon at Gold Coast and how his retirement came about.
Malcolm closes with his post-professional career, stepping out and in with the world of running sharing some philosophies on training, the state of running and anecdotes about drug testing.

Opening up about the difficulties he had in finding a coach afterwards, Mike then talks about what ultimately made him retire from the sport professionally, how he adjusted to life afterwards and recounts his traumatic scare with cancer and then closes with his observations on the NCAA college system and running culture in the US.

Owner and founder of Steigen, and 2006 Commonwealth Games 5000m finalist Louis Rowan chats with Julian, about how he got into middle distance running with the Geelong Veterans, as well as finding the right coach with matching training philosophies.  
Louis talks about the road to qualifying for the 2006 Commonwealth Games, primarily as a 1500m runner and ultimately through the 5000m following a breakout 2005. He talks about the shocking scenes in the Kenyan rooms before going through his performance while blighted by a back injury that would ultimately put an end to his career.
Louis then talks about what motivated him to start Steigen, where the name comes from and some of the lessons in starting and expanding the business worldwide. He explains what Steigen stands for in supporting athletics and athletes before closing with how the Steigen Spectacular came to be, how it’s all about the athletes and making it accessible for a wider audience.

This week’s guest is Brett Robinson chatting with Brad, starting with a debrief on his recent Fukuoka Marathon. They go through his splits, what happened that caused him to withdraw, what he learned from the experience and how he’ll will approach his next attempt.Brett then talks about getting into athletics, his influences in the sport and when he decided to turn pro. He walks us through some of the decisions in progressing the ranks, dealing with injuries and intense cross-training, the self belief needed on the start line and gives some insight and some of the training and banter that goes on within the MTC as well as on social media.

She chats with Brady about the depth in South Australia and how her start in running involved trying everything from steeplechase to cross country. Tara talks about making the transition to higher volume training loads and making her debut Australian teams with the Ekiden Relays and then the back injury in the lead up to the 2009 World Cross Country Championship in Jordan. From there Tara overcomes a series of injuries, surgeries and the patience needed through recovery to set a comeback for the 2013 World Cross Country Championship, only to succumb to another set of injuries. She talks candidly about dealing with injuries as well as her life balance, support network and inspiration looking ahead.
