Listener Question asks the group as dads how would they go about getting their kids into running, which transitions into a group Moose on the Loose into the hype and scrutiny placed on junior athletes who get burned out from the sport.
Ky Robinson chats with Brady about his selection for the cross country team, what he was doing at the time of the Stromlo World Cross Trials, and talks through the discretion process. Ky gives an overview of his racing history and the nuances of racing on an indoor track versus outdoors. He then takes us back to growing up in Queensland, training reluctantly as a junior and getting progressively better and more receptive.Ky talks about how he joined Stanford as a steeplechaser, and his focus as a student before going over the training and coaching setup in Stanford, the typical week and his favourite sessions as well as how the depth of talent has grown in just the short time he’s been based there.
Ky recaps the experience of last year’s World Athletics Championships in Eugene, running against the world’s best at the 5000m, the pep talk he got from Nick Bideau as well as his performance at Commonwealth Games. 
The conversation rounds out over cross country, from winning the Nuttycombe Invitational in Wisconsin to then finishing 10th at the NCAA XC Championships, his expectations for the World Cross Country Championships at Bathurst and what he enjoys outside of running.

Caitlin Adams chats with Brady as she comes off the World Cross Country Trials at Stromlo Park, where she secured her spot on the team by placing third and recaps her performance and mental approach. She talks about some of the training and races in the lead up to it, including overcoming the disappointment of her Zatopek performance. Caitlin shares her favourite training sessions, and how Team Tempo adjusted during the covid period. Caitlin recalls her experience representing Australia at the 2019 World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark going into mental preparation strategies and who she hopes to race against at Bathurst.
She takes things back to when she got into running as a junior, out in regional South Australia and shares the culture and training structure within Team Tempo, wrapping up with her plans for the year ahead and how she unwinds away from running and teaching.

The World Cross Country Trials at Stromlo Park took part, where the first 3 finishers in the Open 10k races secured automatic selections. Jack Rayner took it out after Matt Ramsden took the initiative early, with Brett Robinson coming third. Sinead Diver joined the boys from the Road To Valencia to recap her race from the Valencia Marathon where she set the Australian National Record of 2:21:34, talking about her lead up in the days before, how her training was shaping up, how the race unfolded alongside her pacing strategy and how this performance compares to her run at the Olympics.
