Brady recaps his week and goes into his race in the Melbourne Marathon race, going into his splits for the race and the conditions 2:20:41 placing 8th.
The Nike Melbourne Marathon finally returned and was won by Brett Robinson in 2:14:33, ahead of Tom Do Canto and Ed Goddard in his debut in the distance.
Milly Clark returned to form winning the marathon in 2:26:59 ahead of Eloise Wellings, who herself ran 2:229:19 to improve on her London performance from only 8 weeks earlier, with both posting World Championship qualifiers. Marni Ponton came third in a personal best time of 2:31:55.
In the Half Marathon Izzy Batt-Doyle took out the win in her debut setting the course record of 1:10:17, ahead of Leanne Pompeani and Jessica Stenson. Jack Rayner lead out Dave McNeill and Tim Vincent to take the tape in 1:02:30

Opening the festival on the day before was the 10k race, taken out by Ryan Gregson on his road-racing national tour ahead of Andre Waring and Jordan Williamsz. Rose Davies was first woman across, ahead of Rebekah Greene and Rose Donegan.
