180: Canberra Marathon 2021

Brad hosts Mulligans Flat meet up then paces Shaun Creighton to his 50+ 50k world record.
Julian has a down week to recover from the Easter Half Marathon and strides in the next Next%.
Brady recaps a close contest in the Canberra Half and makes a triumphant return to road racing.

 

Daniel Jones, previous IRP guest takes out the Christchurch Marathon in 2:23 and Alice Mason won the women’s marathon in 2:43. Oska Inkster-Baynes & Katherine Camp were the winners of the Half Marathon.

Canberra Marathon was won by Myles Gough while Riine Ringi won the women’s marathon. Brady Threlfall wins Half Marathon, while Marina Wong is the first female across the line. Matt Whitaker won the 50km Ultra with Shaun Creighton 3rd overall setting a world record in the over 50’s category, and winning the women’s race was Megan Hasick. Hugh Williams & Emily Ryan were the winners of the 10K.
